Okay so yesterday had to be the best day I've had in a long time. Yes, that does include the concert last weekend. I rocked my head off, yes, and yes it was amazing, but it starts to lose its fun when you have to put forward more effort into trying to stay conscious rather than into having fun. I don't even really remember the last few songs of Breaking Benjamin. But hey, yes, it was a good time.
But this Saturday was even better. It was the first actual date Matt and I've been on in a long time, and it took up most of the day too. We went to Gettysburg.. went rock climbing on Big Roundtop and Little Roundtop.. also on Devil's Den.. drove around the battlefields, looked at stuff.. I took pictures of the rocks.. we sunned on one like a pair of iguanas.. got a bag full of homegrown local apples on the way there, damn those are good.. stopped by Boiling Springs on the way home, to take a walk around the lake and to take some really pretty pictures, since the sun was close to setting.. and I was silly after that and took some more pictures from the window of his car as he was driving.. we crashed for a bit in his house.. played Frets on Fire, had tickle attacks, he watched football, it was a good time.. then he treated me to Chinese for dinner and we had the best conversation ever.. childhood reminiscence <3
Plus, it was awesome not having any specific time to be home.. mom's not home this weekend, so I had told dad I'd be home before seven, but that would've been pushing for time in the first place, so I called him and told him I wouldn't be home till later.. I didn't actually get home till 9:45, and it was nice cause the only reason why I was so late was cause Matt and I were lost in talking
And then I spent the rest of the night on Guild Wars ^^
So yes, yesterday was absolutely amazing.. I'm sure you didn't really care for a full-blown description, but I don't really care, I'm happy and I want to share my warm-and-fuzzy feelings
The only thing I have to do today is try calc homework, so today's not looking too shabby either ^^
And now, I must go downstairs, dad wants me to do some work for him
